It's not often a talent for set theory has any application whatsoever, so one has to jump at the chance.Tildyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09182066578207373411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1869684927662694124.post-64959048949169841892008-07-15T21:32:00.000+02:002008-07-15T21:32:00.000+02:00WVHillBilly,No, not necessarily only then. There are also situations when my opponent's range is such that the hands he can have that calls but that I beat are virtually non-existant. For instance if I have JT on a board of T-T-A-4, and the river is a second ace. He will always raise an ace but very rarely call with something worse than what I have.

Chuck: Yeah, I should post this on the forums, as well. Thanks again for the kind words. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07901863272605053446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1869684927662694124.post-35092569456594784222008-07-15T21:02:00.000+02:002008-07-15T21:02:00.000+02:00Great analysis Fredrik, very clear and...'aha' :)O...Great analysis Fredrik, very clear and...'aha' :)

One thing I wanted to note is how much visual aids can help certain people like myself. That little chart/graph thing clears something up in seconds that would normally take days or whatever.

Like in one of Ed's recent videos he uses a (niels bohr?) representation with overlapping circles to represent pfr, c-bet, double and triple barreling hand ranges and it just clicked in my head. I think bringing visual representations to the forums would be awesome.ChuckTshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06299930564340132080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1869684927662694124.post-44345598774067614922008-07-15T18:37:00.000+02:002008-07-15T18:37:00.000+02:00So in what circumstance would you advocate the che...So in what circumstance would you advocate the check/call over the bet/fold? Only against an overly aggressive, bluffy opponent?WVHillbillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12343057764830888763noreply@blogger.com
